Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the Arab Club Champions Cup semi-final against Al Shorta on Wednesday to send Al Nassr to the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup. Ronaldo maintained his goal-scoring streak.

Ronaldo scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute after team-mate Sadio Mane was brought down inside the box. His goal helped Al Nassr qualify for the final. Just days before the official launch of the Saudi Premier League, the superstar has been in scintillating form.

A few days earlier, Ronaldo had scored the opener for his team against Raja Casablanca when Al Nassr beat Raja Casablanca 3–1 in the quarter-finals of the same tournament. The Portuguese superstar scored in the 19th minute after an assist from teammate Talisca. On 1 August, Ronaldo scored his first goal of the season against Tunisian club Monastir with a trademark header in the 74th minute to give Al Nassr a 2–1 win. This goal was historic. Ronaldo managed to break the record of Gerd Müller, who had 144 goals.
