This phenomenal success has propelled the film into the illustrious 200 crore club within a mere five days since its release.

In a cinematic comeback reminiscent of the original Gadar’s fervor from 22 years ago, ‘Gadar 2’ has once again seized the hearts of audiences. The movie dominated the box office landscape, amassing remarkable numbers just within its first five days. On Independence Day itself, the film’s earnings soared to unprecedented heights, solidifying its status within the esteemed 200 crore club.

Having hit the screens on August 11th, ‘Gadar 2’ embarked on a robust journey at the box office, achieving a striking 40 crore opening day figure. The momentum didn’t wane, as the film swiftly crossed the 100 crore milestone over its debut weekend.

The second day witnessed ‘Gadar 2’ securing a net business of 43 crores, followed by crossing the 50 crore mark on Sunday. By the end of its opening weekend, the film’s collections had climbed to an impressive 134.58 crores.

Despite the typical challenges that often plague movies on Mondays, ‘Gadar 2’ defied expectations and sustained its financial prowess, raking in 38.70 crores. Independence Day proved even more prosperous, with the film surpassing its opening day earnings.

On the 15th of August, the movie achieved remarkable success, amassing around 55.5 crores (preliminary figures) in net collections across the nation, as reported by Sacnilk. This astounding achievement translated to a cumulative net collection of 229 crores within just five days of release.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, the same director behind the original Gadar, ‘Gadar 2’ stars Utkarsh Sharma in a pivotal role alongside Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Utkarsh brilliantly portrays Sunny Deol’s son in the film. Joining the ensemble cast is Simrat Kaur, adding to the film’s allure.
